Braised Ribbonfish in Brown Sauce

Ingredients for Braised Ribbonfish in Brown Sauce :

Ribbonfish section with 6cm length (In fact,Any type of firm, moist white fish works in this dish. Choose one with a slightly fatty texture to provide a counterpoint to the sauce’s piquancy, such as sea bass, cod, or halibut.)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
2 teaspoon rice wine
1 teaspoon starch
Scallion
Ginger
Garlic

Steps to cook Braised Ribbonfish in Brown Sauce:

1,Pour vegetable oil into a wok and heat up

2,Add ribbonfish to deep-dry untill it become  golden, take out  and drain the ribbonfish.

3,Remain few vegetable oil in the wok, and then add ginger, garlic and scallion to fry evenly.

4,Add a small bowl of water to boil, then add dark soy sauce and salt.

5,Put ribbonfish to fry with medium heat for 5 mins

6,Dissolve the starch in 2 teaspoons water.

7,Add the cornstarch solution to the wok and cook, stirring, until the sauce boils and thickens.

8,Serve.
